The White Oak Apartments at Oriole Lake is located in the fictious site of Clauina, Maryland. The site is located near Glenelg, Maryland. The apartment complex has 222 apartments with a mixture of 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom units. The overall master plan of Clauina was done as a group project and then the individual part of the project was to design a specific building on the plan. My group decided to view this new town as an addition to Glenelg to give them a downtown area in a rural setting. This is why there is no single family housing located on site but instead complex style housing along with retail, office space, 5-star hotel, schools, hospital, and other amentities.
