Lake Miltona is a prominent lake in Minnesota for ice fishing every year. My design for the ice fishing house grew out of this quick sketch. I took this idea and pushed it further to develop the claws on top of the ice fishing house. These claws are used to anchor the building down into the ice and to lift the house up so a trailer can maneuver underneath. The claws for the model were 3D printed so the model would be interactive and a person would be able to move the claws like the design intends. The claws were printed using gray ABS plastic in order to create the hard and strong feeling like the metal material that the claws
would be constructed out of.
