The S.T.E.A.M. School system is a specialized school that focuses on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. In this project, I wanted to create a building that was fun to interact with and was very intriguing to look at and be in. I accomplished this by creating an atrium that is the height of the building and divides the two different sides of the building. The first floor of the school is an open cafe for the public to use
and the auditorium for the school allows public viewing. The elevators and stairwells require key cards to allow access to the upper floors to keep the students safe. Also, the atrium goes all the way to the roof, so looking up towards the roof from the first floor shows the receding stairwells and creates an interesting environment.
